#3650 LINACLOTIDE IS PROTECTIVE AGAINST RENAL ISCHEMIA-REPERFUSION INJURY

چکیده

Abstract Background and Aims Renal ischemia-reperfusion injury is associated with delayed graft function poor long-term survival following transplantation. Linaclotide a guanylate cyclase C (GC-C) receptor agonist that increases intracellular cGMP concentrations promotes intestinal transport capacity by activating the GC-C receptor. Since CKD deficiency of in kidney, increasing kidney linaclotide would suppress fibrosis, protecting kidney. Method An AKI rat model unilateral nephrectomy plus contralateral ischaemia (30 min) impaired reperfusion (up to 14 days) was used. administered before after surgery for 2 weeks, blood renal tissue samples were collected determine its effect on whether it protective against progression CKD. Results In I/R injury+ group, creatinine levels lower linaclotide-treated group than non-treated group. Sirius red staining showed significant improvement fibrosis. The hydroxyproline content kidneys determined basic method. RNA seq genes down-regulated oxidative stress markers SOD3 Gpx1. expression up-regulated degree similar injury- treatment linaclotide. These data suggest may ameliorate fibrosis suppressing dysfunction through antioxidant effects. Conclusion found decrease caused I/R. We like apply this finding human transplantation future prevent deterioration due

Is adalimumab protective in ischemia-reperfusion injury in lung?

Objective(s): Increasing cytokines and reactive oxygen species (ROS) during ischemia reperfusion (I-R) leads to the lung damage. Adalimumab (Ada) is a potent tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) inhibitor agent. We aimed to evaluate whether Ada would prevent the lung tissue from damage development over the I-R process. Materials and Methods:Twenty seven Wistar albino male rats were divided into...

Melatonin Protective Effects against Liver Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) is a common phenomenon during liver surgery, transplantation, infection and trauma which results in damage and necrosis of the hepatic tissue through different pathways. Mechanisms involved in I/R damage are very intricate and cover several aspects. Several factors are involved in I/R-induced damages; briefly, decrease in sinusoidal perfusion and ATP generatio...

Protective approaches against myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury

Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion is the leading cause for the events of cardiovascular disease, and is considered as a major contributor to the morbidity and mortality associated with coronary occlusion. The myocardial damage caused by ischemia-reperfusion injury constitutes the primary pathological manifestation of coronary artery disease. It results from the interaction between the substances ...

Relaxin protects against renal ischemia-reperfusion injury.

Relaxin, a pregnancy hormone, has antiapoptotic and anti-inflammatory properties. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of relaxin on ischemia-reperfusion (IR)-induced acute kidney injury. Male rats underwent unilateral nephrectomy and contralateral renal IR (45 min of renal pedicle clamping). Rats were divided into three groups: 1) sham group, 2) IR group, and 3) IR-RLX group (rat...

Protective effect of zinc preconditioning against renal ischemia reperfusion injury is dose dependent

OBJECTIVES Ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) is a major cause of acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease. Two promising preconditioning methods for the kidney, intermittent arterial clamping (IC) and treatment with the hypoxia mimetic cobalt chloride, have never been directly compared. Furthermore, the protective efficacy of the chemically related transition metal Zn2+ against renal IRI ...
